As we all know, Covid has put all of us in front of many limits, especially physical ones, both in private life and in the professional sphere. One of the biggest obstacles for our winery was not being able to travel and meet industry professionals. At the beginning of the pandemic, we faced difficulties and we struggled to understand how to carry out our business relationships. But then, as time went on, an increasing number of digital opportunities arose to meet buyers from different countries. This is thanks to the professionals who have understood how to exploit this opportunity in a moment of pandemic, putting in contact wineries and importers / distributors in a serious and certified way. We therefore decided to dive into this new reality of digital relationships and it was a winning choice.
il Botolo has therefore been busy meeting wine buyers and importers from around the world through online b2b platforms.
Our experience over the last months has confirmed that this new way of working remotely is growing fast and is creating a new and improved way for wine producers to connect with importers, distributors, retailers and HoReCa.
Looking back at the many virtual b2b meetings in which we participated in recent months, we were able to sow well, present the wines of Botolo and thanks to this new working model we are starting to see the first results as a winery.
In fact, we are pleased to announce that thanks to online web meetings, il Botolo wines will soon be available in the UK, Belgium, Canada and the USA. Stay tuned for more news on these exciting new markets!
