Nizza is officially DOCG

After a long journey undertaken by the Association of Nizza Producers and the Consortium Barbera d’Asti and Wines of Monferrato, the EU has officially acknowledged Nizza DOCG. This long awaited achievement reflects the articulated work of the large group of winemakers towards gaining the recognition of the uniqueness of their vineyards.

We at il Botolo are pleased to produce such a special and unique wine, a wine that conveys, through its color, scents and flavors, the very best nature has given us.

You can find our Nizza 2015 in Luca Maroni’s Best Italian Wines 2019, where it is described as “a wine with a spectacular concentration” receiving a whopping 94 points!
