In these months nature is unleashing its vitality and the work in the Botolo vineyards is not stopping.
We are all living something very special: in almost every country people have been required to totally review both working and personal time organization.
By the way, with this constraints we are learning to consider everything much more than before and, in particular, to observe nature and seasons: spring is starting and vineyards are blooming, regardless of the pandemic.
For 2020 spring il Botolo takes a special care of vineyards, with a number of manual operations, taking advantage of spring season for grafting and replant.
In Colombaro part of Il Botolo terroir, just in the middle of ‘Cru Bricco Nizza’, we have planted a new Barbera vineyard, with the right south exposition to produce a fantastic Nizza DOCG, explanting 1 ha of Moscato.
At Le Coccole part of our terroir we have planted 1,72 ha of Nebbiolo, to produce Monferrato Nebbiolo DOC or Monferrato Rosso DOC in 3 years from now.
In the meantime we are preparing our production in the winery, willing to share as soon as possible with you our followers our last production.
