2020 is expected to be an excellent year for our wines, thanks to very favorable climatic conditions during the year. In fact, there was a good balance in temperatures and rainfall, factors that played a key role in creating optimal maturation of grapes.
In addition, throughout the year the Botolo team has worked tirelessly in the vineyard with defoliation, thinning and other procedures in order to make the most of the characteristics of each individual vineyard, ensuring good acidity and to properly capture the varietals’ aromas. As our founder well said, great wine is made in the vineyard!
Work and nature have come together in the magic of harvesting. Guided by the experience of our team of agronomists and wine growers and conducted strictly by hand using small crates, only the very best grapes were selected during harvest in order to preserve the juice and skin of the grapes.
The attention to detail, the passion for work and for the territory, are the fundamental ingredients for us to achieve our main goal: to emotionally stimulate through our wines, and to show our commitment to excellence in every sip of wine.
Looking back on what we have achieved, especially this year which was so challenging for all of us, we are thankful for the extraordinary gift that the land has given us. We will continue to treasure and protect the land, thanks also to those who share our vision and who wish to join us in looking to the future with enthusiasm and optimism.
