During the month of February, il Botolo Nizza DOCG played a leading role in two events occurred in Tokyo.
The first event took place in Trattoria Piu’, celebrating opening ‘s first anniversary.
Nizza was presented by chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, better known as Nobu, and offered to guests. Everyone’s appreciation was impressive, starting with the famous chef, who had really flattering words for our wine.
On February 09th, Il Botolo Nizza DOCG was on stage at Trattoria Filo, reference place for Italian food in Tokyo. The Trattoria already had our wines in its list, and we can now confirm testing period was a success with clients.
Due to warm appreciation, chef Ito Yasuhiro decided to create specialties to be paired with Nizza, composing an entire Testing Menu, to be proposed on February 09th, with a good glass of Nizza DOCG 2016.
‘Nizza Day’ has been a great success, so Ito will compose other Testing Menus dedicated to other Il Botolo wines. Stay tuned for more soon!
This year Nizza docg celebrates its 4th birthday. The year 2020 has been a challenge for us all, but this has not put a damper on our desire to celebrate our territory’s young but oh so precious wine!
On June 25 and 26, the Consorzio Barbera D’asti e i Vini Del Monferrato in collaboration with Collisioni il Festival Agrirock , organized a music and wine event held in the charming courtyard of the Barolo Castle.
