After the huge success in Stockholm last April, Il Botolo was pleased to take part again in the E4Quality European Project, this time in Berlin, on October 27 and 28.
E4Quality is a two-year project in collaboration with the Consorzio Barbera d’Asti and Vini del Monferrato that wants to promote in a new and innovative way the story of quality agricultural products of the Piedmont region.

The masterclass was led by writer and lecturer Michele Longo (Italian curator for Hugh Johnson’s Pocket Wine Book), and renowned Master of Wine Romana Echensperger, best German Sommelier 2005, head sommelier of the 3 star Michelin restaurant “Vendôme a Cologne “(pluri winner of “Best Restaurant in Germany”) and wine journalist of the German Wine Institute.
The 2-day event concluded with a second walk around tasting held on October 28 where guests could meet and talk to producers and taste all of the wines featured.
