On June 25 and 26, the Consorzio Barbera D’asti e i Vini Del Monferrato in collaboration with Collisioni il Festival Agrirock, organized a music and wine event held in the charming courtyard of the Barolo Castle.
Respecting social distancing, guests finally had the chance to come together for an evening of music featuring the songs of Italian artist Lucio Battisti and wines from Piemonte, including Cortese del Monferrato, Grignolino d’Asti, Piemonte DOC Chardonnay, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, Barbera d’Asti e Barbera d’Asti Superiore.
Filippo Mobrici, President of the Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato, together with producers, presented the featured denominations from this splendid territory.
For the evenings’ festivities, il Botolo showcased its Piemonte DOC Chardonnay. Guests enjoyed the wine, characterized by its delicacy and persistence on the nose, its fruity flavors and velvety body and great rich finish.
