Le Coccole is the name of our estate winery. It is an old farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and the green countryside of Monferrato.
It is located in a privileged spot and sits at the top of a hill overlooking the historical village of Fontanile, just a few minutes from Mombaruzzo, Acqui Terme, Nizza Monferrato, Bruno and Canelli, and a short distance from Asti and Alessandria. Earlier this year the farmhouse underwent some restoration work, and we were committed to preserve and restore the original spaces as much as possible. The building’s facades and original blinds were restored and re-cycled tiles were used to fix rooftops. The inside spaces of the farmhouse were also restored in order to maintain their original charm and historic details.
Before belonging to il Botolo, Le Coccole was used for years as an agritourism. Today our objective is to open our spaces more and more to the public, by organizing wine related events and wine tastings.
